Soo Guest House

I had a really pleasant stay at Soo Guesthouse. The hosts are really kind and friendly as they try to make you feel comfortable. The room I had was really nice, with a clean bathroom and a bedroom with a TV and air conditioning which is a must in summer. Plus, it’s really well situated, in Myeondong but not in a crowded area which is nice since it’s quieter and more comfortable at night. The subway is 5 minutes away so it’s really nice every time you need to move around Seoul. I would recommend this guesthouse a 100% and will definitely come back next time I’ll visit Seoul.

Momo and Kuku are incredible. They keep the accommodation very clean and tidy and they will help out as much as possible with recommendations for places to visit, travel options etc. They were so friendly, welcoming and happy all the time, always meeting everyone with a smile no matter how busy they were. Breakfast is an added bonus. The rooms were clean with private bathrooms. Toiletries were also a nice touch! Perfect location for easy access to Line 4 of subway and also for the street food night market and shopping streets.

The two sisters are very friendly and welcoming. Lady Koukou was very careful with me so that I didn't miss anything. I was out for 2 days to visit Sokcho and she kept my luggage, offered me a banana and upon my return she was waiting for me with the room with the air conditioning on and my luggage brought to the room. All day long, she cleaned up the places and looked for everything. A real Guesthouse ! P.s. For Europeans used to the western hotel and breakfast style, they might not be enthusiastic. I have traveled a lot in Asia and see things a little differently, so I knew how to appreciate this host. 감사합니다 !

Friendly owners who give you instructions upon arrival. The owners do live on site but your basically left to your own devices. There is no reception. To me it was more like at staycation than a guest house. My single room was small but adequate. Clean throughout. Aircon, fridge & TV worked fine. The bed had clean linens & doona cover. The bathroom was a wet room but slippers are provided. Excellent hot water & water pressure. A unique accessory is the bath towels are small. You placed your used towel(s) in a basket at the kitchen & take fresh ones. I found out later that many hotels around Korea have small towels. Breakfast is self service. Eggs you cook yourself, bread to toast, orange juice & milk. You have to clean after yourself. Overall, given the expensive cost of accommodation in Seoul this offers good value in a quiet location & only a short walk to the subway.

This is a nice, cozy apartment at a great location with a lovely host. We felt welcomed from the "get-go", and enjoyed our stay. While we had our private bathroom, there was an open kitchen for all booked guests. Breakfast was also provided there. The apartment is just a good 5-minute walk away from the subway station, and around 7 from lively streets where you can go shopping, eating, celebrating. Perfect apartment for people, who are looking to explore Seoul, starting from a central location.
